All of our deliveries must be signed for. We do not make any money or profit from delivery charges. The cost of delivery by courier to some Scottish outlying areas, Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands attracts a surcharge. This is governed by the courier not us. In some cases to send some heavier items to these postcodes by Royal Mail is normally more expensive than our courier.
All deliveries are sent 'next working day signed for'. Requests for deliveries to be left in a 'safe place' are made at your (the customers) discretion. Please note that by choosing this option, you are accepting any liability for parcels that become lost or damaged. JayJays accepts no liability for lost or damaged parcels left in a 'safe place'.
There are rare occasions where the courier may take longer than 24 hours. In this case the delivery is almost always made on the next day. This is outside our control, and whilst we will do our very best to chase this up for you and have the item delivered asap, we will not refund postage on items that are deliverered on the following day. If delivery is over 48 hours, please contact us.
In the event of parcels being returned to JayJays due to failure to pay import duties/fees or refusal of delivery, the customer shall be responsible for any further fees/charges incurred.
APO - USA
- Please note that outside couriers (including FedEx & Royal Mail) cannot deliver directly to APO address. We are informed that for security reasons, only USPS have access, unfortunatly we don't have access to USPS in the UK.
As such please supply a static address (Not APO), even if it is a camp address or a relative who can forward your goods through USPS. Apologies for any inconvenience that this causes.
BFPO postage options are only available for British Forces Personnel serving overseas.-
- If you choose this option - please provide a full BFPO address along with your Rank and service number.
- If you select this option and are not in the forces or eligible for BFPO services, JayJays reserves the right to cancel your order or ask for further payment to cover courier costs.
- When filling in your shipping address, please use the country where you are stationed or having the goods delivered to and NOT UK.. This will automatically deduct the VAT from the items on the web page or in your basket and remove the need for VAT Refunds. Don't worry about how the shipping address looks. We use the BFPO commercial mail desk and complete the address labels manually. So long as we have all the details, we will make sure it is correct!
UKRAINE CUSTOMERS: Please note - we do not currently have a courier that will accept parcels directly into Ukraine due to the ongoing invasion by Russia. The closest we can manage is Poland or any of the other neighbouring European countries. This is out of our control and we sincerely apologise for this. Slava Ukraini!
