We chose to create this pack as customers were telling us problems they had with other day sacks and we took this on board to create, this new version which now comes with a grab handle and 2nd cord lock on the opening for tighter closure. It was designed and manufactured with specific end-user feedback every step of the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">When we undertook this project, we asked soldiers for their opinion on what they thought would be the ultimate daysack. Side compression straps are also a new addition. The Beast is a <strong>125ltr <\/strong>capacity bergan designed for wearing with a belt kit. (With rocket pouches this goes up to a huge 150ltr capacity).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The Bergan sits on an external high density polymer frame to ensure maximum air flow around the back area. An inherent problem with external framed bergans is that they can squeak under a heavy load. We have now incorporated anti squeak pads on the webbing straps to eliminate this problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The Bergan&#8217;s\u2019 profile is low in height yet wide enough to cope with large volumes of kit needed.  JayJays\u00ae padded wider shoulder straps are fitted for comfort due to the amount of time the Bergan is worn and the loads carried.
